Thank you. I know this
weekend has been a dark one for you all, and I hope I never have to experience such hurt
and loss. Coming home from school, I saw the smoke from the fire that your department
battled Friday from my bus window. I knew what this was, and the thought of you protecting
the people in my area warmed my heart. I know I can always count on you saving my friends
and family. Learning what happened to Mr.. Murray reminded me of September Eleventh. He
gave his life with the thought of saving a life. He
was a hero. You all are. Thank you for protecting Jefferson City every day.
