2003 My son just became a recruit fire fighter for
your dept. last week. His name is Brandon. As a former fire fighter myself, I would like
to thank you for giving him the opportunity to help his community by helping to save
homes, property and lives. Brandon is new to the area, coming from a town of 11,000 or so
in southern middle TN. And due to local dept. policy, was unable to fulfill his dream of
becoming a fire fighter in our town. I can hear in his voice, when he calls, how excited
he is about having the chance to be in a helping position, and an exciting one at that.
Though I am not a resident of Jefferson City, I would like to thank each and everyone of
you who risk your lives each day for your fellow man. You are greatly appreciated...not

New Market Fire Department responded with a mobile cascade system (for refilling air
bottles), which was the only assistance requested. Lakeway Central does not
currently have such a device.
